I am sure the first craft store I visited in the USA I must have had the same wonder and excitement on my face that my kids had at Disneyland. Seriously, I was in awe.
I had a whole three hours to enjoy two of the major craft stores with my eldest daughter.
I spent most of the time just looking, absorbing, discovering things we don't have here.
My lovely host sister had saved me coupons so I was really excited to get 50% off some items.
I purchased this lovely book (amongst many other things)
which wound up under the Christmas tree for me.
I have dabbled in machine embroidery in the past... making an apron for a swap in 2010.
But I really wanted to work on my technique.
So this week I started practising from the book. Using their templates I made a toilet bag and it is the giveaway for day 5 - you could win it!!
